A man facing multiple murder charges now knows when he will get his day in court.

Jackie Clint Doom appeared in Livingston County Circuit Court on Wednesday, and the court clerk's office says Judge "Woody" Woodall scheduled the trial for a two-week period starting April 20, 2020. Doom's next pretrial conference is December 18.

Doom faces three counts of murder related to events on December 21, 2018. Kentucky State Police say January Stone, Johnny Mallory and Robert Belt were shot at a home on Stringtown Road. Testimony in a January pre-trial conference revealed there had been an ongoing feud between Doom and the victims, since he believed Stone, Mallory and Belt sold methamphetamine to his wife, who subsequently lost their child.

Police say Doom told them he went to the home to work out differences with the trio, but when one of the men made a sudden move, Doom thought he had a weapon and opened fire. Police said he reloaded his gun, and Stone was shot 11 times, Mallory was shot 19 times and Belt was shot 24 times.

In addition to three counts of murder, Doom was also charged with alcohol intoxication on the night of December 21.
