KSP Make Drug Arrest, Seize Half Pound of Meth

A Union City, TN man faces drug charges following an undercover investigation by the Kentucky State Police Thursday.

According to KSP, the department learned of a shipment of methamphetamine that headed for the western Kentucky area. As a result of the investigation, they conducted a traffic stop on North Sutton Lane about a mile west of Mayfield.

Their investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately one half pound of meth with an approximate street value of $22,000, and the arrest of 22-year-old Maurico R. Ramirez of Union City, TN.

Ramirez faces several drug charges and was booked into the Graves County Jail.

The KSP is continuing their investigation.
