KY 272, KY 1062 Closed at US 68/KY 80 Intersection

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed KY 272/Old Canton Pike and KY 1062/Maple Grove Road at the intersection with US 68/KY 80 in Trigg County.

These roads are closed to allow placement of a culvert and to allow completion of connections to the New US 68/KY 80 corridor.

Both roads are expected to remain closed at this site for about 3 weeks, but there is a marked detour using KY 1075/Old Dover Road.

Existing US 68/KY 80 will remain open to traffic at this intersection.

This work is part of a larger project to construct approximately 8 miles of new 4-lane highway between Cadiz and Canton in Trigg County. 

Drivers should use caution in the work zone, which includes flaggers where traffic may encounter construction equipment.
