Organized by Jennifer Upton and husband, Mayfield native Paul Upton, the sale gives area families the opportunity to sell outgrown items that are no longer needed but in good condition and provides others the chance to purchase high-quality, name brand items at a fraction of the retail price. This one-stop sale helps local families eliminate the hassles of selling items online or organizing garage sales while also giving them the opportunity to earn 70% on items sold. Items for sale will include spring and summer clothing in preemie through junior sizes, accessories, shoes, indoor and outdoor toys, infant equipment, nursery furniture, sports equipment, bikes, books, videos/DVDs, maternity clothing, and much more. Their "mom's corner" features name brand women's clothing, shoes, handbags, and costume jewelry. The majority of items remaining unsold are donated to area charities.
The Murray Spring 2013 Sale will be open for the public to shop March 14-16 in the CFSB Center at Murray State University. Hours are Thursday and Friday from 10 am-8 pm and Saturday from 10 am-5 pm. To volunteer, contact Jennifer Upton at jen@kentuckykidssale.com or call 270-734-9543.
