According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened at around 4:30 pm on State Highway 80 East, approximately three miles east of Murray. Deputies said 20-year-old Kasey Turner of Kirksey was traveling west on State Highway 80 when he lost control of his vehicle.
Police said Turner crossed the median and the eastbound oncoming lanes of traffic then went into a ditch. His vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest on the passenger side.
Turner was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
A second vehicle, driven by 51-year-old Danita Houston of Murray had minor damage due to debris striking it as Turner crossed the median. Houston was not injured in the accident.
