This could cause hazardous conditions for boaters and recreational events on or around area lakes.
Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing. Avoid open waters. Stay close to shore or around protected areas. High wind gusts could also cause driving difficulties for high-profile vehicles on east-west oriented roads.
