Livingston Crash Claims Life of Grand Rivers Man

A single-car crash Thursday morning claimed the life of a Grand Rivers man.

Livingston County Sheriff's deputies were called to Dover Road near the intersection with Forrest Drive. They found a vehicle driven by 82-year-old Wallace R. Boyd had left the roadway and traveled 200 feet down an embankment, before striking a tree.

Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene by Livingston County Coroner Jeff Armstrong. Deputies report that Boyd was wearing a seat belt, however they do not know what caused the crash.
