Sheriff Dewayne Redmon said after several tips and an investigation by detectives a search warrant was executed at a home on Moore Street in Lowes and evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing was found inside and outside the home.
Detectives found chemicals and equipment used to manufacture the illegal drug, several canisters of residue from previous meth cooks, three loaded syringes of what is believed to be methamphetamine and a bottle filled with a liquid that is believed to be liquid meth. A grow room was also found in the home with an expensive ventilation system and high powered halogen lighting equipment.
Some growing marijuana plants were located inside the home and precursor items and a start to a mushroom growing operation were also located. Both suspects had illegal narcotic drugs on their person at the time of arrest.
