A man was arrested late Friday night after several homes in the Paducah area were burglarized.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said they received a complaint of a burglary in progress in the Lovelaceville Florence Station Road West area.

Witnesses said that a naked man covered in blood had attempted to break into the home, and was carrying a large knife.

A short time later deputies learned that a second home in the same area had been burglarized.  There officers discovered an open door with heavy amounts of blood within the doorway and inside the home.  No one was home at the time of the burglary.

When police viewed video from the second home it also showed a naked man armed with a large kitchen knife.

Deputies learned that the man in the video was allegedly 20-year-old Gabriel McGill of Paducah, and learned that McGill was seeking medical treatment at a local hospital.

McGill was arrested Saturday morning after being medically cleared with a cut on his foot he allegedly received during one of the burglaries.

McGill was charged with multiple counts of burglary, and more charges are likely.
