On Monday around 4:20 pm, police say Anthony White escaped from custody while being taken back to the detention center on Court Row in Greenville.
White was last seen getting into a brown Nissan Altima and was wearing an orange jumpsuit. He is a 49-year-old white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 178 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.
White was currently serving time for theft by unlawful taking $500 to $10,000, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, trafficking in heroin, and multiple misdemeanors.
