According to deputies, early Saturday morning, a white male driving a silver or light colored car with blue emergency lights and possibly a white light, pulled over a vehicle in the area of Canton Road and Linton Road. The man reportedly walked up to the vehicle and asked the driver if he knew why he pulled him over.
The driver said the man asked him to step out of the car. The driver said the man was not in a recognized uniform, so he asked him to see his badge. The man then turned around and walked back to his car and left.
Anyone with information on who may be trying to impersonate an officer is asked to contact the Trigg County Sheriff's Office.
