Man Shot Saturday in Calloway County

A man was shot on KY 94 in Calloway County Saturday at approximately 9:20 am.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched by radio to respond to the area of KY 94 West and Rob Mason Road due to shots being fired in the area at a vehicle. 

While deputies were in route to the location, the Calloway County Sheriff's Department received a call of a man parked in the middle of KY 94 West just before the Graves County line with a gunshot wound. 

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. 

The vehicle and person or persons involved in the shooting fled the area after the shooting. 

The incident is under investigation, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Calloway County Sheriff's Office.
