At 3:30 pm, state troopers were traveling on East Broadway when they said they saw a man physically assaulting a woman in a parking lot. Troopers confronted the man, but he reportedly fled from officers into the woods near Family Dollar.
State police said he is African-American, but did not provide any further identifying details. They did gather surveillance video of the suspect from a nearby business.
