Man's Body Found in Ballard County Field

Authorities are investigating a man's death in Ballard County.

The Carlisle County Sheriff's Department says their office got a mutual aid request Friday afternoon from the Ballard County Sheriff's Department for a UAV/drone aircraft to assist with a death investigation.

A deputy responded with several drones to fly over and take video and photos of a field where a local farmer found a body just off Tabor Road in Barlow.

Deputies said the man was wearing a brown belt, blue jeans, and a University of Kentucky sweat shirt. Investigators say they have not identified the man, and they do not suspect foul play at this time.
