Man's Death at LBL Under Investigation

Authorities in Lyon County are investigating a man's death Saturday evening at Land Between the Lakes.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded at 9:20 p.m. to a call about a man who was found unresponsive on Kentucky Lake Drive. Deputies arrived to find a woman performing CPR on 70-year-old Gary Beach of Benton.

Beach died at the scene despite efforts to revive him. The investigation into his death is ongoing. An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday at the Medical Examiner's office in Madisonville.
