Marshall Man Facing Terroristic Threatening Charge

BENTON, KY - A Marshall County man was arrested Thursday on terroristic threatening charges.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at 1:20 am to Griggstown Road in regards to a disturbance complaint. Upon arrival, deputies learned that 52-year-old Tommy Vick of Benton had been in a dispute with a neighbor.
During the course of the conversation, Vick made statements to deputies about “having a killing” if the neighbor was not arrested. Vick also said there would be bodily harm to the neighbor.
Deputies said Vick was manifestly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. He was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and terroristic threatening third degree.
