Marshall Traffic Stop Leads to Two Meth Arrests

A weekend traffic stop in Marshall County led to the arrest of two men on methamphetamine charges.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Saturday after observing the vehicle swerve several times.

The deputy spoke with the driver, 41-year-old Kerry Henson, of Almo. According to the deputy, Henson was making jerking, rapid motions and could not remain still. While speaking to Henson, the deputy said Henson 's passenger, 56-year-old Jack Morgan of Benton, moved the console and placed something there.

As a result of the investigation, Henson was arrested and charged with careless driving, DUI, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Morgan was also arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
