According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, deputies conducted a routine traffic stop at 3:45 pm Wednesday, on a vehicle for registration violations, on Old Mayfield Road.
The driver, 51-year-old David Hogg, allegedly had an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and was found to be under the influence. Hogg was also found to have a suspended license for prior DUI charges.
He was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
