A Graves County man faces multiple charges after crashing his car on Monday. According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened at approximately 11:30am on KY 97 near Mayfield.

Deputies said 28-year-old Tyler Heath, of Mayfield, was traveling north on KY 97 when he lost control of his vehicle, and it veered off of the east side of the roadway. His vehicle went into a ditch, struck a road sign, continued back across the roadway and went into a yard, striking a mailbox.

According to deputies, Heath continued driving for a short distance after the collision but finally pulled off the road due to mechanical issues. Heath is charged with DUI, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and wanton endangerment.

According to police, Heath’s nine-year-old daughter was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Heath was also in possession of a pair of brass knuckles at the time of his arrest.
