On Thursday an officer with the Murray Police Department stopped to assist a driver parked on the side of Highway 80. While assisting the driver, 25-year-old Jalon Johnson, officers reportedly learned he had an active arrest warrant out of Graves County.
Officers then searched the vehicle and reportedly found methamphetamine residue, and drug paraphernalia.
Johnson was lodged in the Calloway County Jail. He is being charged with first degree possession of a controlled substance, first degree fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence, and drug paraphernalia.
