Health officials announced twenty-one new cases of COVID-19 in McCracken, one new case in Carlisle, two new cases in Ballard, and three new cases in Fulton.
The new cases include one six month old, two toddlers, three teenagers, three people in their 20's, two people in their 30's, three people in their 40's, four people in their 50's, five people in their 60's, two people in their 70's, and one person in their 80's.
The new cases bring McCracken County's total number of cases to 282, Ballard 34, Carlisle 17, Hickman 12, and Fulton 36.
The Purchase District Health Department provided the following steps to help prevent the spread of the virus:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water;
• Avoid close contact with anyone that is sick;
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;
• Stay home when you feel sick;
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue;
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
