According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened around 9 am on Highway 94 West, approximately nine miles west of Murray. Deputies said Ahmed Alruwaili was traveling west on Hwy 94, when he lost control of his vehicle due to medical issues.
Alruwaili veered off the roadway, struck a tree and a pole, causing his vehicle to overturn. Alruwaili was trapped in the vehicle for a short period before being removed by non mechanical means.
He was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
