National Weather Service meteorologists will spread out across western Kentucky today to perform storm damage surveys along the paths of at least two suspected tornadoes that occurred over the weekend.

Two teams will begin near the Mississippi River and travel eastward. One team will start on the Carlisle-Ballard county line and proceed through McCracken and Livingston counties just short of the Crittenden County line.

The second team will start in northern Hickman County, and study damage in Carlisle, Graves, Marshall and Lyon counties.

Additional surveys may be scheduled later in the week.
