Minority Parent Sought for Ballard Council

Minority enrollment is up this year at Ballard County Middle School by nearly nine percent. That's a significant increase, and state regulations require that schools with minority enrollment over eight percent have a minority parent as part of it's Site-Based Decision Making Council. 

In keeping with the state mandate, an election to choose the minority representative has been set for Sept. 26, from 8 am - 5 pm, at the middle school office. 

Nominations for the post will be accepted by letter or email. Either way, the nominations should be sent to principal Kevin Estes no later than September 24 at 3 pm.
