“Despite the rain we had a great turnout for the race,” said Keith Travis, vice president of development for Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

“We couldn’t do it without our sponsors, volunteers, staff members, runners, spirit teams, fans or our community. It takes the whole city to keep an event like this going on for nine years and we appreciate the time and resources that everyone gives,” he said.

The fundraising totals for the event are still being calculated and will be announced at a later date. All proceeds from the races support the Enduring Hope campaign or the building of a new cancer center.
