Murray Man Arrested on Robbery Charge

A Murray man was arrested on a charge of robbery of a Calloway County business on Saturday night.

The Murray Police Department said officers responded to the Marathon gas station on Coldwater Road where a man had reportedly pulled a knife on the cashier, demanded money and fled.  

A description of the robber led police to arrest 34-year-old Justin Smith. 

Smith was taken to the Calloway County Jail and was charged with first degree robbery.
