The call was reported to Marshall County 911 Dispatch who contacted a Kentucky State Trooper in the area who checked the bridge and confirmed the nav lights were out. A report was then made to the Coast Guard, who issued a notice to boaters in the area that the bridge is dark.
A KYTC electrical crew is on the scene this morning to check on the lights.
Navigation lighting on the bridge was repaired during work to replace the span and reopen the bridge to traffic just before Memorial Day.
