Northbound Parkway Ramp Closed in Mayfield

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the northbound ramp from the Julian Carroll-Purchase Parkway Exit 25 to US Highway 45 at Mayfield starting today.

The ramp will be closed for upgrades, including removal of old curb and gutter, widening of the ramps and extending the ramp.  The ramp is expected to remain closed for about 6 to 7 days.

During this ramp closure, portable message boards will be placed along the parkway to provide directions for a marked detour using the Purchase Parkway Exit 24 northbound exit ramp to KY 121 at Mayfield.

Once the ramp widening and upgrade work is completed the contractor will return for paving of ramps at several interchanges.
