One Hurt When Vehicle Collides with Trailer

MAYFIELD - One person was hurt in an collision Thursday in Graves County. 

The accident happened on U.S. Highway 45 between Pryorsburg and Wingo, according to the Graves County Sheriff's Department. 

Deputies say a vehicle driven by Allison Berry of Wingo was northbound, while a truck being driven by Ronald Conyea of Hickory was backing out of a driveway with a large trailer. Deputies say Conyea had four people helping him by flagging traffic, but Berry was reportedly not paying attention and struck the trailer with her vehicle. 

Berry was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. A juvenile passenger in her vehicle was not hurt.

Neither Conyea nor his helpers were injured.
