One Person Hurt When Car Rear-ends Fire Truck

SYMSONIA, KY - One man was injured Thursday night when a car slammed into a fire truck in Graves County. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened at 8 pm in the 8100 block of State Route 131.
Deputies said a car driven by Robert Miller ran into the back of a fire truck belonging to the Symsonia Volunteer Fire Department. First responders with the fire department treated Miller until Mayfield Fire and EMS arrived to extricate him.
According to deputies, Miller does not have a valid operator’s license and was not wearing his seatbelt. He was transported to Western Baptist Hospital to be treated for his injuries. The driver of the fire truck was uninjured.
