Parkway Interchange Reopens for Holiday Weekend

A contractor plans to temporarily reopen the Purchase Parkway/US 68 Exit 47 Draffenville Interchange southbound entry ramp for Memorial Day weekend.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the ramp will be opened back up at around Noon Thursday, and will remain open to normal traffic flow through the Memorial Day holiday weekend travel period.

The ramp will close again starting about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. It is expected to remain closed for another 2 to 3 days to allow a continuation of work to widen the ramp, lengthen the acceleration lane, and complete other upgrades to the ramp.
