Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle on Murray State Campus

MURRAY - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening on the campus of Murray State University.

According to Shawn Touney, Executive Director of Marketing and Communication for MSU, the accident happened near the intersection of 16th Street and Ryan Avenue. 

The pedestrian, who was a Murray State student, was treated at the scene and refused to be taken to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not cited or charged.

Names of those involved in the accident were not available, according to Touney.
