A Calvert City chemical plant has donated vital supplies to several agencies on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Murray-Calloway County Hospital issued a press release Friday saying that Brett Bierbaum, an engineer at Ashland Chemical, delivered 35 gallons of hand sanitizer to the hospital on behalf of the Calvert City facility and Plant Manager Frank Stevens.

The sheriff's departments of Graves County, Calloway County and Marshall County also posted photos on Facebook Friday and thanked Ashland Chemical for similar donations to their employees.
