Police: Man Thought He was Meeting Girl for Sex
By West Kentucky Star Staff
PADUCAH - A Muhlenberg County man was arrested Monday morning for allegedly soliciting sex on his phone with a person that he believed was a minor.

Paducah Police say on November 21, twenty-six-year-old Dustin Ray Stone of Greenville started communicating with an officer whom he believed to be a 13-year-old girl. Police say he sent text messages asking for nude photographs and sent photos of himself.

Stone allegedly arranged to meet Monday morning at a south side Paducah convenience store for sex, but when he arrived just before 9 am, he was met by police officers.

Stone was arrested for using an electronic communication device to procure a minor or peace officer for sex. He was taken to McCracken County Jail.

Police say Stone is on the sex offender registry because he has previously been arrested on the same charge.
