Police Officer, Two Others Injured in Collision

HOPKINSVILLE - A police officer was injured in a crash Saturday night.

The collision happened at around 8:45 pm at the intersection of Dawson Springs Road and Henson Drive in Hopkinsville. According to Kentucky State Police, Hopkinsville Police Officer Timothy Humble was patrolling on Dawson Springs Road in his marked agency vehicle when he was rear ended by a car driven by 18-year-old Armon White of Hopkinsville.

Humble was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the collision. White was transported to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries.

Two passengers in White's vehicle, 18-year-old Jarell Liddell and 18-year-old Jakiyah Henton, both of Hopkinsville, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
