Parents and churches in Marshall County will gather tonight to hold a prayer service for students and families as the two-year anniversary of the high school shootings approaches this month.

The "Hope Explosion" youth rally will begin at 5:30 in the high school cafeteria with prayer, worship and a featured speaker. Then at 6:30, parents and others will join the students for a community prayer time.

The public is invited to participate.

The Marshall County High School shooting took place on January 23, 2018. Gabriel Parker is accused of killing Bailey Holt and Preston Cope, and injuring more than a dozen others. His trial is scheduled to begin in June.
