President of Mid-Continent Steps Down

West Kentucky Star has learned that Dr. Robert Imhoff has resigned as President of Mid-Continent University. We are told Ken Winters is now assuming the position on an interim basis.

Sources with the university are telling us that reports from other media outlets indicating the university is closing, are not true. They say they are "optimistic" about the school's finances through the end of the year.

Mid-Continent has over 2,500 students and is located in Mayfield, Ky.
