A report of a reckless driver on Sunday led to the arrest of a Princeton man.

Kentucky State Police in Madisonville received a call about 8 am about a speeding car that was also being driven recklessly on I-69 north.

A trooper located the vehicle near the 105 mile marker, and says the driver was still being reckless, so he pulled over the car. The officer says when he spoke to the driver, 22-year-old Logan Ennis of Princeton, he appeared to be intoxicated.

Police confirmed that Ennis was under the influence, and also determined that he was carrying drug paraphernalia. The trooper also discovered multiple prescription pills and suspected methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Ennis was arrested and taken to the Hopkins County Detention Center where he was charged with reckless driving, operating a vehicle while under the influence, failure to provide an insurance card, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of possession of controlled substance.
