Purchase Parkway Blocked by Overturned Semi

The Purchase Parkway was blocked Wednesday morning in Hickman County after a semi overturned and blocked the southbound lanes.
 
No injuries were reported at the time of the accident.

 The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the accident occurred at the 3-mile marker. The semi was carrying a load of dog food, which had to be offloaded before the truck could be removed.

The scene was cleared and traffic restored after 9 am.
