According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the closure will cover KY 924 between the first and second mile marker, to allow for the replacement of a cross drain.
The closure is along KY 924 west of the Crutchfield community, between KY 1125 North and Jefress Road and 2.5 miles west of the U.S. 51 intersection.
The roadway is set to close at 8 a.m., and if everything goes correctly should re-open by 3 p.m.
Drivers will be able to detour through KY 1125, KY 94, and KY 781.
