LYNNVILLE, KY - A shooting Saturday night in Graves County left two men behind bars. According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, deputies responded to a “shots fired” call in the Lynnville Community around 9:30 pm Saturday.

Upon arrival deputies learned that Jason Chambers and a female acquaintance had been involved in a dispute in downtown Lynnville and he had followed her to a home on Swan Road. According to deputies, 30-year-old Jared Brown of Lynnville came out of the home and fired a shotgun in the direction of Chambers who was leaving in his vehicle.

During the investigation deputies arrested 30-year-old Jacob Sperry of Lynnville and charged him with disorderly conduct. Brown was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment first degree. Both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.

Deputies said Chambers is a person of interest in this case and they want to question him. Anyone with knowledge of Chambers’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at 270-247-4501.
