The search continues for a woman that was swept away by strong current in the Tennessee River Friday night near Calvert City.

Curt Curtner, with the Marshall County Rescue Squad, says 37-year-old Brandy Osborne, from Illinois, walked into the water to meet a friend when the current swept her away.

Osborne is 5' 5", 130 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She was last seen Friday evening wearing a pink hoodie, blue jeans, and rubber boots.

According to Curtner, personnel from multiple agencies have been searching for Osborne using boats with sonars, drags, various K9 teams on and off the water, and also drones.

The search will resume today, and will continue for as long as resources are available.
