Search Warrant Nets Two Drug Arrests in Mayfield

Two Mayfield residents were arrested on multiple drug charges Sunday.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office says a deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana while serving a civil paper on Dowdy Street in Mayfield. The home was secured and a search warrant was obtained.

During a search of the home, deputies reportedly found marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, amphetamines, legend drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash believed to be proceeds of drug transactions, numerous cell phones and a handgun. They also reportedly found two sets of digital scales and multiple prescription bottles with assorted pills in them.

Thirty-four-year-old Dominique Redd and 28-year-old Siordia were both arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. Both were charged with trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in meth, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in controlled substance, trafficking in legend drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription controlled substance not in the proper container. Redd was additionally charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
