Semi Crash Blocking Part of I-24 West in Lyon Co.

A semi tractor-trailer crash has westbound traffic on Interstate 24 restricted to one lane at the 50 mile marker in Lyon County.

The accident happened around 4:30 pm. All traffic is moved to the left hand or passing lane at this crash site. The truck will have to be offloaded before it can be moved.

Traffic is likely to be affected until 8-10 pm, according to officials.

Drivers should watch for slowing and merging traffic in the area, which is about 2 miles west of the extended I-24 work zone between Cadiz and Eddyville.
