Semi Overturns on I-69/Western Kentucky Parkway

State highway crews are still working to get an overturned semi off the roadway at the two mile marker on Interstate 69/Western Kentucky Parkway in Lyon County.

The truck, hauling avocados, hit about 300 feet of guardrail, then rolled and crashed on the right of way around 1 pm Wednesday.

The driver was taken to the hospital. There has been no word on his condition.

Eastbound traffic is down to one lane. The roadway may have to close so the truck can be recovered.

Traffic is expected to get back to normal around 6 pm.
