Meteorologists say there is a risk for strong to severe thunderstorms with dangerous winds, lightning and heavy rain.
The area with the greatest potential for damaging winds and possibly flooding rainfall will be across portions of southeast Missouri, southern
Illinois and southwest Indiana.
There is a chance for lingering thunderstorms Tuesday. However, if storms move completely through the area tonight, we may see a lull in the activity Tuesday, with chances holding off until Tuesday night.
There is a also chance of mainly afternoon thunderstorms Wednesday through Sunday.
