Slight Risk for Severe Thunderstorms Today

The National Weather Service office in Paducah is watching the possibility of thunderstorms on Sunday to reach severe levels.

The chance of thunderstorms includes a slight risk of severe storms. Locally damaging winds and marginally severe hail are the most likely hazards, if in fact severe weather does develop. There may be enough wind shear for a brief, short-lived tornado.

Thunderstorm chances linger but diminish on Monday, with heavy rain and lightning the main hazards.
