Suspect Sought in Convenience Store Theft

State police are asking for the public's help locating a theft suspect.

Kentucky State Police Post 1 says the unknown suspect is involved in the theft of items from a convenience store in Salem, Kentucky last month.

Surveillance video reportedly shows a Hispanic man entering the Tambco gas station on Thursday, May 14 at around 2:35 p.m. Police said the man stole several items and left the store without paying.

The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap turned backwards, black shorts, a dark colored jacket with a white stripe across the front, a blue and white T-shirt, and black Nike shoes. He was driving a silver passenger car with tinted windows. The registration is unknown.

Anyone who has information about the theft is asked to contact police.
