T-Mobile users could soon have better coverage in the Paducah area.  In a plan filed with the FCC, T-Mobile says they have purchased more available bandwidth that cell phones use to make and receive calls and data in the Paducah and Evansville, IN areas.

The nation's 4th largest cell phone carrier has been on the hunt for extra bandwidth that would strengthen their network for their users.  Earlier this year, T-Mobile announced the purchase of $2.4 billion dollars worth of frequencies from rival Verizon Wireless.

T-Mobile has announced that they plan to roll out the better coverage they purchased from Verizon sometime in the 3rd quarter of this year.  It's not known if Paducah will be included in that role out, or at a later date.
