Teen's Drowning in Trigg County Being Investigated

Authorities in Trigg County are investigating the Thursday night drowning of a Christian County teen.

Trigg County Coroner John Mark Vinson says 17-year-old Zach Cheatham died at 11:46 p.m. from an accidental drowning near Cobb Road in Cerulean.

The accident is under investigation by Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and Trigg County Coroner’s Office.

The Coroner’s office was assisted the scene by Trigg County Rescue, Trigg County EMS, Trigg County Emergency Management, Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife and Henderson Kentucky Fire Rescue Department. 

No other information about the incident has been released.
